Description:

Pioneer plant on forest edges, very fast growing with large heart-shaped leaves, older leaves turning deep red. Tiny greenish-yellow flowers in Spring to Summer.

Scarlet-coloured berries which attract many different birds.

Attractive spreading branches similar to a Poinciana tree (but smaller).

Natural Habitat: Rainforest, Eucalypt forest Margins

Aspect: Full Sun / Filtered Sun

Soil/Conditions: Moist / Adaptable
